Did you know the Creator of the Universe wants to share His wisdom?

TODAY'S PROVERB: ...then I [Wisdom] was the craftsman beside Him, I was His daily delight, always rejoicing before Him, rejoicing in His whole world, and delighting in mankind. Proverbs 8:30-31

What an image these verses call to mind. Wisdom watches our Heavenly Father create. She is in awe of each feat and rejoices. What role as "craftsman" she plays in all this amazing-ness we're not sure, but just being there is an honor.

Wisdom saw how all the pieces fit together. How creation can work when there is perfection.

Then we go and mess it up. Sigh.

What is so humbling is our Abba doesn't give up. While the world is no longer perfect--and clearly we're not either--His wisdom and system is. He devises a system for us to have a relationship with Him--atonement. He shows us how to build a healthy community with laws.

Pursuing Him and His wisdom then, is logical. Since He created the Universe, then He certainly knows how to help us operate in it--flawed though we may be.

Since He spoke the world into being, His Word is essential to operating in His creation. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) It's also essential to knowing how to have a relationship with Him--and each other.

There was also another witness to creation. "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him nothing was made that has come into being." (John 1:1-3) The Father's Word spoke creation into being, the the Word became flesh, Yeshua, our Salvation.

Jesus ratified His Father's New Covenant prophesied by Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:30-33). Then commissioned His followers to now bring the invitation to join the family to the nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

A whole new people from every tongue and belief now needed the same teaching the Children of Israel needed to live as GOD's kids. "...and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to make you wise, leading to salvation through trusting in Messiah Yeshua." (2 Timothy 3:15).

Today is no different. It's easier now to have the whole of Scripture before us, yet we seem to forget its power and necessity.

Let's remember the joy of our salvation: "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will return to You." (Psalm 51:14-15)

Let's live His word and in His Word, and pursue His Wisdom.

May we rejoice and delight in our Heavenly Father's Word, my friends.
