Who's watching?

Proverbs 5:21--What if we could see our spouse's every move?
Our children's?
Our friends?
Our employees?

How exhausting. How disillusioned we'd be after a few days.

I for one, wouldn't want to know everything my loved ones were doing. It would be a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Still, in order for us to be responsible parents, employers, teachers, and even, spouses, being aware of what these souls might be engaging with or in, might not be such a bad idea.

We're not meant to know everything--thank the good LORD. But, our Heavenly Father sees it all. Those things we don't want others to know. He. Sees. It. All.

Not only does He observe our actions, He can view our intentions and motivations as clearly as our behaviors.

And yet, He still loves us. Wants to encourage us. Correct us. Forgive us. Teach us. And, truly, He wants us set free from all that entangles us and sends us down those crocked paths.

I remember watching my baby daughter's every move--well, as best a new mommy could. Why? Because I love her. Take joy in her. Want to protect her. Want to know her.

Why would GOD be any less than me? He's so much more.

May we know He's there, my friends.
