Are you listening?

Proverbs 5:13-14--How many "wise" instructors do you have in your life? One? Five? Ten?

Our heavenly Abba (Daddy) has systems in place for His children to live an abundant, Godly life. An important "cog" in this system are mentors and teachers.

These giving souls reside in our families, congregations, and communities--those we can touch and meet with over coffee. In today's world, there are also those we meet virtually.

When we choose to listen to our teachers and incline our ears to their instruction, we can avoid a multitude of disasters and difficulties.

GOD's wisdom is all around us, but to distinguish between His Voice and the world's we are still responsible for being in His Word. It's how we can find those wise counselors and teachers and also discern whether or not they are in line with GOD's Word.

When we know GOD's Voice and can recognize it in the counsel and teaching of others, we should gather those folks and keep them close. Thank them. Make them dinner or cookies. Then, give back to others looking for mentors and teachers.

May we strive to thrive in the company of GOD's gift of counselors, mentors, and teachers, my friends.

Proverbs 5:13-14--I would not listen to my teacher’s voice or incline my ear to my instructors. I was almost in utter ruin amid the community and congregation. Tree of Life Bible Society Tree of Life Version - TLV #tlvbible#tlvproverbs
