The Proverbs Journey Continues . . .

Proverbs 2:2--Intentional attentiveness. That's what I think of when I ready today's verse.

I was a distracted student. I lived in my head. If I wasn't thinking of stories, I was people watching, worrying about my life, or what I would eat for lunch. I missed a lot of details--important details.

What I was quite adept at was looking studious, but it was mostly a facade. I hadn't a clue.

As the LORD began helping me through my challenges--emotional, behavioral, and spiritual--paying attention became real, intentional.

Knowing that the Creator of the Universe wants to freely feed us wisdom, discernment, and knowledge should be a compelling reason enough. Once I knew that, that He wants to reveal His secrets to a life well-lived, I knew there was no turning back.

May our ear be attentive and our heart inclined to ADONAI, my friends.
