Are you afraid of "fluttering sparrows?"
Proverbs 26:2--Words have power. Words spoke the universe into being. Words ushered sin into the world. Words heal. Words destroy.
"In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
For those who don't believe that curses can have power, read the book of Deuteronomy.
The good thing is that GOD protects those covered in Yeshua's blood. We are protected against random and purposeful curses. They are like tiny birds fluttering around us, all because of what Jesus did on our behalf.
We shouldn't be cavalier, but we shouldn't be fearful either.
When we made the decision to trust in GOD alone, we inherited His enemies. It's a daily battle and we need to be observant, just as we would if we were crossing a busy street.
Just know this, the victory was already hard-won. And our loving Abba has given us tools and each other to battle together. BTW, Ephesians 6:10-20 is a great instruction manual for our fight.
Ultimately we win. Ultimately, we are victorious. And that's good news, my friends.
