DAY 76 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge

Proverbs 17--I love this passage! Why? It's the first step toward wisdom--self-control.

Even if it's unintentional, restraint feels a certain way in our heart and mind. It's surrendering our control--at least for a moment--to pause. To pause and perhaps think and seek the LORD's direction.

If you're beginning this Proverb-a-Day journey, begin here. If we're off course in our journey, go back to this place and wait for GOD's direction.

The passage implies a fool can choose restraint. That there's hope. And that, my friends, is why I love this verse.

May we not only appear wise, but be wise, my friends.

Proverbs 17:28--Even a fool, who keeps quiet, is considered wise, discerning, if he seals his lips. Tree of Life Bible Society Tree of Life Version - TLV
