DAY 68 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge

Proverbs 9--A very wise woman once told me, "If you're always stepping into the same puddle, it's not the puddle's fault."

In other words, if we're always finding ourselves in the same dilemma, then it might just be us.

Circumstances happen that cause us to track "mud" into our lives. But, if we notice that we're always striving with money issues, or late payments on our bills, or we forget appointments, or any repeating uncomfortable circumstance with people or responsibilities, then, yep, it's time to go to the LORD and ask for help.

Sometimes we make decisions that come from a place of fear or greed or ungodly assumptions. Or we struggle with indecision and procrastinate until the decisions are made for us--and not with the best results.

The safest place we can examine these issues is in our Secret Place--that Sacred Place with our Heavenly Abba.

We can cry out, "Why do I do this!" without fear of recriminations. Our LORD longs to help us avoid those puddles.

May we go to the One who will help us avoid those puddles and walk in the way of understanding, my friends.

Proverbs 9:6--Abandon your foolish ways and live! Walk in the way of understanding.” Tree of Life Bible Society Tree of Life Version - TLV
