DAY 66 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge

[Check out the video with Tree of Life Bible Society CEO, Daniah Greenberg and me. We really dig into this proverb. https://www.facebook.com/tlvbiblesociety/videos/2338082799551072/ ]

Proverbs 7--What do we treasure? Who are the people and what are the things we hold most dear?

For those of us redeemed by the blood atonement of the Lamb of GOD, our most sacred, precious treasure is the Creator of the Universe. The Creator who wants us to call Him, Abba--Daddy.

So, how do we treasure our relationship with this All-Powerful being? What does that look like?

There are rooms of books and billions of words written by people, much smarter than me, that speak of how to have an intimate relationship with Him.

But, I can say that treasuring GOD is a choice. It begins there.
We choose Him as first in our life. We choose to show up to be in His presence. We choose to cherish His Words. We choose to seek to know Him better.

Of all the things He wants from us, the greatest is our love. The proof of our love is giving Him our time. The Creator who spoke the universe into being longs to spend time with us! How amazing is that?

In those precious moments, we little by little become who He created us to be.
  • He empowers us.
  • Heals us.
  • Prepares us.
  • Strengthens us.

Why wouldn't we want to spend time with Him--our greatest treasure!

My friends, may we give our greatest treasure to our Heavenly Daddy--our time.
