DAY 38 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge

Proverbs 7--Have you ever unwittingly wandered into "evil's" lair? Have you ever walked the perimeter thinking it didn't look as bad or as dangerous as you thought?

In this passage of Proverbs a young man "who lacks understanding" strolls into harm's way. Once he's in temptation's territory, he struggles against her enticement but gives in and follows her into sin and death.

This all began with being somewhere he shouldn't be. That somewhere can be a place, yes, but it could also be a place we go in our minds. Worry. Fear. Lust. Pride. Anger. Offense.

Once we're in sin's territory it becomes difficult to resist following evil to a darker place.

When our mind wanders, we must work hard to take it back home where it is safe in the loving arms of our Abba. And those thoughts that try to pull us away? Shove them over to Yeshua, He knows what to do with them.

May we stay outside sin's territory, my friends.
