DAY 19 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge

Proverbs 19--Today's chapter has several verses directed toward families and how to have peace in the home. Love that.

It also gives us valuable insights into justice and prudence (Love that word!). There are verses that illustrate how important both integrity and loyalty are to our lives.

This chapter also gives us insight into GOD's heart concerning the poor and wealthy--that sometimes our perception is off-center to His way of seeing things.

But, today, verse 2 really struck me. It's about the pros and cons of zeal.

Don't we love an enthusiastic person? They are the spiritual cheerleaders of the Body of Messiah. They can see the dream and its potential and oh, how it excites them.

That zeal can motivate us to persevere on a tough project or push us to begin one.

The downside of a zealous person is they don't always think things through. They can rush right by important decisions in the planning process or miss GOD's direction altogether.

Zealous folks can also expend so much energy being excited about a project that they run out of energy and never really follow-through.

We need dreamers and cheerleaders. They inspire and motivate us. But we also need the planners.

Planners' outward enthusiasm may be more subdued because they are in their head building. They can see the steps to make a dream reality and have the understanding to see a project through.

These folks can help dreamers and cheerleaders accomplish impressive goals. Dreamers and cheerleaders keep planners motivated and focused on the reason for the project.

Which are you?

Whoever we are, together, we can learn from each other and do great exploits for the Kingdom.

May we dream and do together, my friends.
