DAY 11 IN THE 91-DAY NEW HABIT CHALLENGE! #ProverbsChallenge
Proverbs 11--Another chapter filled with gourmet nuggets:- the importance of integrity and how it is measured;
- the positive impact of righteous leaders of government, commerce, and community; and
- how what we sow into our families, work, and community has an eternal harvest.
For me, verse 17 sums up the chapter: living righteously does our soul good. We live righteously when we use GOD's measurements and weigh our decision in life using His scales.
Those decisions impact those around us. When we are fair and wise, others will be drawn to us. They will trust us in business and in the community because our word is trustworthy. They will seek us because they are hungry for GOD's truth--and don't even realize it.
In the end, whether our righteous life produces riches of property or purpose or both, our soul will rest eternally in the best place to be--in our Heavenly Abba's arms.
Our reward for a life lived for Him is to be with Him. It doesn't get any better than that!
May we live out our life righteously, my friends.
